Shipping

Yes. At We Are Portugal you never pay for shipping to the Continental USA unless you opt for expedite shipping.

Products are usually shipped within 1 business day after we receive your order. We ship same day if you place your order by 1PM EST. Delivery in the continental U.S. is typically 3-5 business days.

Check your email for your tracking details, including the tracking number and carrier so that you can track your shipment.

We do not have an option for our customers to select a preferred carrier when placing an order. In the case that a certain carrier cannot deliver to your address or if you have any other specific shipping requirements, please contact our support team at info@weareportugal.com.

We use FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS depending on the item, the package weight, and the destination.

We offer international shipping to Canada from the United States to the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan.

Your order shipping costs do not include additional taxes or custom fees. Duties and taxes vary by country. If you would like to know more about the duties and taxes in your country, please check with your local customs office website.

Returns

At We Are Portugal, we stand behind the quality of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience. We will do our best to make things right if you are not satisfied. That's why we offer 30-day hassle-free returns. Learn more about returns, refunds and exchanges.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@weareportugal.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll send you an email that we’ve received your return, and your refund will be processed within 5 business days.

We’ll work with you to replace it as quickly as possible! Please send us a picture of the damaged item(s), along with your order number to: info@weareportugal.com.

exchanges and cancelations

Bought the wrong color? Item is to big/small for intended use? Don’t worry, we’ve got your back! You have 30 days from the delivery of your order to exchange any item.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We will also issue an exchange for a damaged, defective, or incorrect product received in your order.

Contact us at info@weareportugal.com so we can assist you with any changes to your order. Although, we are unable to cancel an order that was already shipped.

Our team vets each and every product we carry to ensure it's aligned with our values. We collect detailed information about their products and manufacturing process from each brand, small businesses, designers, and artisans we partner with. Most of them carry the Carta de Artesão (Artisan Card) the Official system of recognition of artisanal producers in Portugal, whose responsible entity is the Employment and Professional Training Institute, with CEARTE being responsible for the technical instruction and evaluation of the applications.

No. All the items offered by We Are Portugal are imported by us to the United States, and carefully stored in our warehouse in Newark, New Jersey, from where they are shipped to you.
