In typical Portuguese restaurants and taverns these clay bowls are used to serve a Traditional Soup called Caldo Verde, literally Green Soup. Our Soup Bowls are handmade and hand painted pottery pieces, unique in character and feel, with colorful floral motives with a vintage rustic design. Hand thrown by one of the oldest Portuguese potters, in Alentejo, they are ideal for serving soup, noodles, cereals, ice cream or other desserts, fruit, parfaits, rice, or side dishes. They are also excellent for food prep and will stack perfectly in your cabinets for space saving.
